Dutch subscription bicycle provider Swapfiets introduced a new version of its Swapfiets Power 7 e-bike. With the introduction of the improved Power 7 and the accompanying subscription, Swapfiets is meeting the daily mobility needs of residents in the main cities of Europe.
High number of pre-orders
E-bikes have become a popular alternative to the car and other public transports. As a result the Dutch scale-up has seen a sharp increase in the number of pre-orders for the new e-bike. The company has therefore increased production and expanded the number of cities where the e-bike will be available. Swapfiets now offers the Power 7 e-bike in 26 cities in Europe. In the Netherlands, the electric bicycle is now available in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, Utrecht, Arnhem, Den Bosch, Groningen, Nijmegen and Maastricht.
With a maximum speed of 25 km/h and a range of 145 km, the Swapfiets Power 7 is ideal for long-distance traveling and people who live outside the city. It also has a removable and easy to charge battery. With an aluminum frame and anti-puncture tires, Swapfiets offers the e-bikes in subscription form at €75/month. Later this year, the company is also planning to expand its service to Milan, Paris, and London.
