Carver, a Dutch manufacturer of sustainable mobility solutions launched its electric cargo vehicle: Carver Cargo. This innovative vehicle has been developed for emission-free urban logistics. It will revolutionize freight transportation and bring about a sustainable city centre.

Electrifying logistics
Dutch cities intend to achieve completely emissions-free city logistics by 2025. This would require delivery vans and trucks would have to tread the electric route, rather than relying on fossil fuels. The Carver Cargo electrifies city logistics and is designed for maximum mobility in cities. It is only 98 cm wide and has an insulated cargo capacity of 500 litres. The new cargo vehicle can travel at a speed of 45 kmph.

No obstruction or parking problems
In order to overcome the problem of a narrow vehicle cornering without tipping over, Carver developed the Dynamic Vehicle Control (DVC) system which automatically adjusts the tilt angle of the cockpit to the speed and acceleration of the vehicle. Due to the unique tilting technology, driving through the city center is very easy. Because of the narrow size the vehicles are not obstructing traffic while delivering, and parking problems are also a thing of the past.
